The slow process of certifying the number of deaths from dengue fever in Jalisco continues.
Before official figures are released, federal authorities must corroborate all cases that have already been confirmed by this state’s health department. Thursday, new numbers saw this year’s death toll rise to 37, with another 89 still under review. Confirmed dengue totalled 283 in the past week – the biggest reduction in weekly figures for two months.
