SOS Dog Rescue takes issue with shelter relocation

SOS Chapala Dog Rescue, a local NGO dedicated to saving and finding permanent homes for  abused and abandoned canines, has explained why it has serious reservations about the local government’s plans to relocate the dog shelter that has operated on the west end of Ajijic since July 2020.


Trash pickup back on track

The private company holding the concession on trash collection on behalf of the Chapala government appears to be resuming regular service after faltering over the past week due to the breakdown of half of its fleet of six garbage trucks.
