Everyone’s the villain in LLT mystery farce  

Though it reportedly evolved through several adaptations, “No Clue, The Stage Play” showing at Lakeside Little Theatre from November 5 to 15, seems to have returned to its roots. The stylized acting, the color-coded characters and the bodies stacked like cordwood behind the library couch put one exactly in mind of the old board game Clue.

The seventh annual Tercer Milenio International Film Festival (FIC-TM) returns to the Lake Chapala region this year with an expanded program of activities that will run from Friday, November 11 through Monday, November 21 at four venues.

Counter tenor returns to native stage

“I always knew that I could sing in a high register when I wanted to because I used to mimic my soprano sister,” says Guadalajara-born counter tenor Santiago Cumplido del Castillo, who takes the stage at Auditorio de la Ribera del Lago in “The Tribute to Farinelli” on November 19. (Counter tenors sing in a typically female soprano range.)

Veteran director Roseann Wilshere has put her own abilities of artistic improvisation to work on what she refers to as “an adaptation of a screenplay, adapted from the board game and adapted from the classic film “Murder by Death” adapted from “Ten Little Indians” by Agatha Christie.
