Zombies on the Malecon

Saturday, October 29, 5 p.m., Ajijic celebrates its 12th “Thrill The World” event, where zombies young and old, Mexican and expats, dance to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and raise money for local charities.

Noche Bohemia

The Rotary Club of Ajijic will hold a Bohemian Night as a fundraiser for polio prevention, Saturday, October 22, 6 to 10 p.m. at the Mexia Ranch, on the Libramiento. On the menu are drinks, dinner, great music, dance, fellowship and karaoke.

Huizache Tienda Creativa at 16 de Septiembre 22 in Ajijic is holding a popup show Friday, September 30, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, October 1, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Offerings include art, jewelry, ceramics, pewter, hand-painted boxes, clothing, and more.

World Water Festival

Leading up to the World Water Festival at Lake Hamana, Japan in October, here at Lakeside a celebration of “Thanks to the Water of the Chapala Ribera” will be conducted at the Ajijic Malecon Sunday, September 25, with a tambourine circle at 10 a.m.
