Lorena Ochoa gave birth to her second child on Wednesday, November 6, announcing the event via her Twitter account, and even posting a photograph of the newborn.

Ochoa and her husband, Aeromexico chief executive Andres Conesa, have named the baby girl Julia.

At press time it was not known whether Ochoa would be present at any time during her own tournament, the LPGA Lorena Ochoa Invitational, which takes place at the Guadalajara Country Cub from November 13 to 17.

Ochoa’s first child, Pedro, was born in December 2011.
