Chapala’s Department of Ecology has started the inspection of trees lining the streets of La Floresta to determine their health status and the appropriate actions required to maintain a safe balance in the subdivision’s wooded zone.

Avenida madero partially closed

The southbound lane of Avenida Madero from the intersection of Hidalgo to the waterfront was temporarily closed to through traffic this week as work crews were occupied with installing underground utility tubing and adding finishing touches to the adjacent sidewalk outside City Hall.
