The emblematic Fuente de Pescadores in the heart of Chapala’s tourist zone has been refurbished with the installation of dancing fountains, nighttime lighting in revolving colors, and lake-themed decorative touches for the surrounding walkways. Metal mesh nets for the fisherman statues and other new details are still in the works.

Pancreatic cancer survivor, acclaimed artist and Wings of Hope supporter Arturo Garcia, an Ajijic native now living in Denver, Colorado, recently donated two paintings to the University of Colorado Hospital. His donation was an expression of his gratitude for the care he received at UCH almost three years ago.
