Judged art show
Ajijic Society of the Arts (ASA) invites one and all to its 37th Annual Judged Show, Saturday, February 15, 4 to 6 p.m. at the Centro Cultural Ajijic. Participate in the people’s choice award while getting to know the artists. The show runs through February 28, with ASA hosts from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Jewish Film Fest
Ajijic’s 11th annual Jewish Film Fest continues at Cinemagic in Plaza Bugambilias Sunday, February 9, 1:30 p.m. with a screening of “The Farewell Party” (2014, Israel).
Art, design & gourmet food
Some 60 artists, designers, artisans and chefs will come together for a bazaar at La Huerta Serna events center in West Ajjic Friday, January 31 and Saturday, February 1, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Bare Stage Theatre
Bare Stage Theatre presents “Maggie’s Getting Married” by Norm Foster, directed by Roseann Wilshere, Friday to Sunday, January 24 to 26.
LLT auditions
Peggy Lord Chilton will direct Lakeside Little Theatre’s production of “The Actress” by Peter Quilter, with show dates March 27 to April 5.
Lip Sync
The 12th annual Lip Sync show continues at the Auditorio de la Ribera Friday, January 10, 6 p.m. and Sunday, January 12, 2 p.m. The bar opens one hour before each show.
LLT Playhouse
The broadcast of the National Theatre Live production of “One Man, Two Guvnors,” postponed in October, will premier Saturday, January 4 and Sunday, January 5, 4 p.m. at the Lakeside Little Theatre.
