Romantic soirée
The Rondalla de Chapala will celebrate its revival after a 15-year hiatus with a musical soireé scheduled for Friday, August 9, 8 to 11 p.m. The Velada Romantica coming-out party will be set on the grounds of the Villa Encantada with Lake Chapala as a natural backdrop. The outdoor events salon is located at Hidalgo 312, next door to the Milagrosa Park at Chapala’s western outskirts.
Iron man gets to work
The Naked Stage, which presents minimalistic play readings for adult theater lovers, presents “Do Not Go Gentle,” a comedy/drama by Susan L. Zeder, on Friday, July 26, Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28.
The second concert in the series of summer concerts organized by Viva la Musica takes place at St. Andrews Church on Sunday, July 21, 4 p.m. (the bar and seating open at 3 p.m.). The performers will be the Cronopios Ensemble and Cuauhtemoc Garcia.
