For those of you who aren’t aware yet, the Chapala Chapter of Cruz Roja (Red Cross) is in serious financial difficulty. Several weeks ago, Cruz Roja was unable to meet the payroll and had considerable outstanding bills to their suppliers.

Color fest
Friday to Sunday, May 17-19, the Ajijic Malecon will host the Festival de Colores, featuring live music, dance and a show of powdered color. An exposition of regional products, including art, crafts, food, drink, gourmet items, clothing and more, will be part of the event.
