The Charros de Jalisco have made it into the Mexican Baseball League playoffs, despite finishing sixth in the Northern Division. 

In the first game of the final regular season series held on August 5, the Charros secured a crucial 10-3 win against the Dorados de Chihuahua at the Pan American Stadium in Zapopan, earning their spot in the postseason.

The playoffs begin on Saturday, August 9, and as a wild-card qualifier, the Charros will start on the road at the Sultanes de Monterrey.

Games three to five (if needed) at the Pan American Stadium are scheduled Tuesday, August 12 through Thursday, August 14, all starting at 7:30 p.m. The last two will be in Moterrey.
