Chapala Mayor Alejandro Aguirre was among the local government officials and community leaders convened from countries throughout the entire western hemisphere to participate in the first-ever Cities Summit of the Americas held April 23-28 in Denver, Colorado.
The forum schedule included plenary sessions, stakeholder roundtables, expert panels, networking sessions, commercial engagements and public outreach activities, all to promote regional cooperation on a range of shared priorities.
Insights and strategies on topics such as climate change, orderly urban growth, mobility and transportation, public safety, technology innovation, governance and migration were discussed.
