Colette Home-Douglas, long-time resident of Ajijic and Vista del Lago, passed away early on May 28 at her home after a four-year battle with cancer. She was 73. Her husband John passed away of prostate cancer on April 21, just five weeks prior.
Former Ajijic resident Beatrice Gale Paquin died May 1 in Winlaw, British Columbia at the age of 73.
Ajijic resident LaDonna Farrar passed away May 12 at a hospital in Guadalajara at the age of 74.

Shirley “Shirl” Muriel Riley passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 10 in her home in Ajijic at the age of 83, from complications due to a stroke, with family at her side.
Lakeside resident James Mann “Jim” Scott died May 12, 2012 at the age of 84.
Lakeside resident Joan Marie Forman passed away on April 21 after a long illness at the age of 72.
Lakeside resident Donald “Don” J. Rausch died in a Guadalajara hospital on May 14 at the age of 73.
Jack (Zack) Memmott died peacefully in his Ajijic home on April 24, after a long bout with cancer. He was 86 years old.
