Mi México, the iconic boutique located in the heart of Ajijic, will close its tall wooden doors for a final time on Saturday, February 15.
A group of around a dozen foreign residents of Lakeside gathered in front of Chapala City Hall on Wednesday, February 5, to show their solidarity with Mexico and to protest the harsh immigration policies being enacted in the United States.
Ajijic is already gearing up for its signature Carnaval festivities, which kick off next weekend with the traditional Fiestas Taurinas and culminate in the raucous Mardi Gras parade on March 4.
