In the autumn of 2021, with Guadalajara still struggling in the pandemic, a young Mexican-American who had just relocated here from Portland, Oregon, decided to try to make her literary habit less costly.

GDLUZ suspended Friday
Due to the threat of rain, the nighttime GDLuz sound and light festival in downtown Guadalajara will be suspended on Friday, February 16. It will resume as normal on Saturday, and last an additional day, ending on Monday, February 18, instead of Sunday.
