Theater

“Blood Relations” opens Friday, October 24, 4 p.m. at Bare Stage. This electrifying play is based on the true story of Lizzie Borden, who may or may not have killed her own blood relations in Fall River, Massachusetts, in 1893. The murder remains unsolved.

Renowned playwright Sharon Pollock examines Lizzie’s motives, her relationships, and the possibility of her innocence or guilt, offering a nuanced perspective on one of America’s most notorious historical figures.
