Lake Chapala Duplicate Bridge Club members, generally, have many and varied interests. Attendance is down this month as many members negotiate river cruises in Europe and elsewhere.
The first of five weekly seminars tied to the theme of future planning for senior citizens will be held at Saturday, May 6, 10 a.m., at St. Andrews Anglican Church, Calle San Lucas 19 in Riberas del Pilar.
Heart of Awareness
The Heart of Awareness (HoA) Buddhist Community offers opportunities to meditate together at the Practice Center (Guadalupe Victoria 101, Ajijic) on Sundays and Wednesdays. Activities at the Heart of Awareness are open to all. Chairs and cushions are provided and there are written meditation instructions for beginners.
April may be “The Cruellest Month” for T. S. Eliot, but for the Lakeside community it is time of renewal and a myriad of new beauties to admire.

The Lake Chapala Duplicate Bridge Club members enjoyed a week of their favorite game without many of their dear friends from the U. S. and Canada. The change of seasons and the wonderful Lakeside weather was good compensation.
