This week, Mexican discount airline Volaris launched a twice weekly nonstop flight from Guadalajara to San José, Costa Rica.
This is the third nonstop route from Guadalajara to cities in Central and South America, joining Bogotá and Panama.
With this new addition, Guadalajara Airport now offers a total of 61 routes: 31 domestic and 30 international. This year, the airport expanded its international operations with two new connections to Canada—Vancouver and Toronto. In January, Aeromexico also introduced a Guadalajara-Atlanta route, and starting December 19, the airline will launch seasonal nonstop flights to Orlando, Miami, Las Vegas and Denver.
