Vast majority pass police breath tests

Of the 326,000 people who have been asked to take a DUI alcohol breath test since the Salvando Vidas program was introduced in Jalisco in November 2103, 97 percent have come through with flying colors.  The three percent who failed the test have either paid a hefty fine or spent up to 36 hours in jail to sober up.

Senior Jalisco athletes head for France

Jalisco Governor Artistoteles Sandoval Diaz and his wife Lorena Jassibe Arriaga, honorary president of the Family Development Agency (DIF), greeted 21 older Jalisco athletes who are part of the Mexican delegation competing in the XXI World Masters Athletics Championships in Lyon, France from August 4 to 16.
