Bare Bones Readers Theatre’s premier of “Sylvia,” a two-act play written by A. R. Gruny and directed by La Manzanilla’s own Arleen Pace, was, in my opinion, the best night of entertainment held this season.

John Henry Browne.  Do you recognize the name?  No, well how about Ted Bundy?    Many more “yes” answers on that one I’m sure.   Here’s the connection.  John Henry Browne was the infamous serial killer’s defense attorney.   Browne has recently published his autobiography, “The Devil’s Defender.”

Women’s March

On January 21, 400 citizens and expats of La Manzanilla joined the millions of other people around the world in a peaceful protest march against the threat of losing not only women’s rights, but human rights.

Five New Houses

Unbelievable, but true!  This past Friday, at our primary school, the Grade 6 class feverishly worked to not only build, but decorate five Gingerbread Houses. (Got you!)
