The Degollado Theater opens its doors each Tuesday for the free classical music series Martes de Musica y Opera. No tickets are sold nor is there numbered seating. Just turn up before the performance and grab a seat. The quality is always high, and the theater will often fill up. June 23: Masterworks from Russia, France and Mexico. Featuring Konstantin Ziumbilov on violin and Lorenzo Sanchez on piano. Composers include Shostakovich, Lobato, Ravel and Saint-Saens. June 30: Cliff Jackson is back to accompany singers interpreting more works from famous operas and Broadway shows. Bernstein, Verdi, Donizetti, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Ponce, Bizet, Massenet, Gounod, Handel, Puccini, among others.
