Susan Abeyta, the U.S. Consul General in Guadalajara, raises a toast to the U.S. holiday at a party thrown by the Consulate on July 2.
The bash, attended by politicians, educators, and business and civic leaders, was held on the campus of the Tec de Monterrey university. Colorful adornments helped create a traditional, festive ambience.
Consulate staff played host and mingled with the guests.
