Guadalajara’s answer to Oktoberfest, the annual Festival de Cerveza, returns Friday, October 9 to Sunday, October 11 at the Estadio Omnilife.
Founded in 2008, the popular event is now in its eighth edition. Organized by independent Tapatio brewery Minerva, the festival is a showcase for Mexico’s burgeoning craft beer industry. Attendees will be able to sample dozens of strong and flavorsome cervezas artesanales from across Mexico and abroad. Gates are expected to open around noon and close around midnight on Friday and Saturday (Sunday around 6 p.m.). Admission to the festival is 100 pesos; children aged three to 12 enter for free.
