Church shows appreciation for local missionary

On Sunday, December 8, the congregation of the Little Chapel by the Lake recognized Tony Rojas for his dedicated service to Youth With A Mission.

A native of the lakeside village of San Juan Tecomatlan, Rojas works with the organization feeding the hungry in Norway and witnessing to the youth on the streets there.

Following the worship service, Rojas was the guest of honor at a luncheon.  He expressed his appreciation to everyone who contributed to his fundraising efforts through donations and by allowing him to do odd jobs at their homes.  During his last term of service, Rojas became quite a baker and used those skills to help raise the funds for his return trip.  He left his home town on Tuesday to head for Mexico City and travel on to Germany and Norway.

Little Chapel pastor Gene Raymer is seeking sponsors who are willing to donate 500 pesos per month to help Rojas meet his monthly expenses while continuing his mission work abroad.
