Larry Nottingham, commander of Chapala’s American Legion Post Seven, has announced temporary modifications to operating hours after learning that restaurant staff were in close contact with a person who tested positive for Covid-19.
Restaurant service has been suspended while kitchen staff self-quarantine. It will resume January 20 or 21 provided employees remain free of symptoms and present negative test results before returning to work.
In the meantime, the Post facilities at Morelos 114 are open daily, noon to 7 p.m., for bar service only. Some regular meetings will take place on schedule by special arrangement.
