As the Pan American Games near the end of their first week, Guadalajara’s Transportation Department (SVT) has relaxed its enforcement of minor traffic laws by half. The average number of fines issued has fallen from 3,000 to 1,500 per day, the agency is reporting.

Visitors to the crafts center of Tlaquepaque have a new deluxe shopping mall on their doorstep with the opening of the Forum Tlaquepaque at the corner of avenidas Rio Nilo and Marcelino Garcia Barragan.
