Ajijic gets the New Year off to a spirited start with the colorful January 1 Tecoluta Bowl Parade.
The custom goes back more than two decades, when clans residing on Calle Francisco Villa and Calle Alvaro Obregon first cooked up the idea of ushering in the new year with a lighthearted challenge aimed at dispelling every day neighborhood antagonisms.
