Sure seems like a lot of people have become awful testy these days. Perhaps it can be chalked up to winter weather blues, or maybe attitudes of folks that haven’t quite adapted to the darker realities of living in this so-called south-of-the-border paradise.

Whatever the reason, there’s certainly a lot of gripping going around that is disheartening just as a new year gets started.

A few expats recently put out a call to boycott Walmart after pickpockets targeted several of the store’s customers in a single day.

Others have been whining about local telephone and internet services, tangled traffic aggravated by on-going highway and street repairs, banking foul-ups, and international airline travel woes.
