Officials from the Instituto Mexicano de Seguro Social (IMSS) met with Chapala government officials this week to pursue an initiative for the construction of a permanent IMSS clinic in the municipal seat.
The agency has operated its local health care center out of three different rental properties over the years.
The local government is now offering the northwest corner of La Cristiania Park as a site for the new first contact facility.
