More than 5,500 visitors from 66 nations are expected to attend the 41st edition of Mexico’s leading tourism promotion fair, the Tianguis Turistico, which gets underway at Expo Guadalajara on Monday, April 25.

Paintings, pastels, drawings, sculptures and photos by a select group of U.S. artists will show Thursday and Friday, April 14 and 15, in the garden, stairway and salon at the American Society of Jalisco (AMSOC), located in Guadalajara’s graceful Colonia Chapalita.
What started in 2012 as a language practice meetup for a group of ten people has now become a thriving movement, with multiple sessions held across Guadalajara and a membership of over 1,500 people.
