After taking a commanding 3-0 series lead in the first round of the Mexican Baseball League playoffs against the Sultanes de Monterrey, the Charros de Jalisco had to wait until Game 7 on August 17 to secure a 4-3 series win.

The Charros began the Northern Division semifinals on the road, facing the Algodoneros del Unión Laguna on August 20 and 21.

Games 3 and 4 will take place at the Pan Americano Stadium in Zapopan, on Saturday, August 23, 6 p.m. and Sunday, August 24, 5 p.m. If necessary, Game 5 will be played on Monday, August 25, 7:30 p.m. The series will return to Torreón, Coahuila, for the final two games, if required.

Charros tickets are available at boletomovil.com and at the stadium, although only a few were still available at press time.  Full houses are expected for the two weekend games.
