As harvest season peaks in the orchards just over the hill from Lake Chapala, Ixtlahuacán de los Membrillos is gearing up for its 9th annual Festival Internacional del Membrillo, set for the weekend of August 1–3. A full schedule of events promises to draw visitors from near and far.
