The Jalisco Health Department has dispatched 40 teams to different parts of the Guadalajara metropolitan area in a bid to eradicate mosquitos that may be spreading the dengue virus.
Health Secretary Fernando Petersen said he expects the teams to fumigate around 2,400 hectares, starting this week with these neighborhoods: Constitución, Mesa de Ocotes, El Rosario, Santa Cruz de la Huerta, Camichines, Buenos Aires, Chulavista and Atlas.
