Common Ground Fellowship / Little Chapel by the Lake
This Sunday, Dr. Wayne Cook continues his look into the various Christian denominations with his sermon, “Can We Fall From Grace,” this time comparing Armenianism to Calvinism. We hope you can join us for the worship service that starts at 11 a.m., then stay with us afterwards, helping to bag our despensas for those in our communities who need a little help. Afterward, you are also welcome to join us for lunch.
CGFLC is a bilingual, friendly, and all-inclusive place to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We believe the church exists primarily for the benefit of those outside it as we seek to make Christ’s love known to others by serving our community in a feeding ministry and various other forms of aid. Additionally, we gladly accept donations of clothing and non-perishable food items that go directly to families in need in our purple donation box in front of the Chapel. Among our missions, we also host Saturday’s car wash fundraiser for Mama Cleo’s boys' home from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each week and we have a Saturday outreach to children in need in Chapala.
There is a time of singing on Sundays, 9 a.m. and a prayer time at 10 a.m. The main worship service begins at 11 a.m. and includes a children’s church. Wednesdays at 5 p.m. Belva Velazquez leads a Bible Study.

Lake Chapala Baptist
Trusting in God moves you from death to life. We were once spiritually dead, separated from God and living under the pull of sin. But God, rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ and raised us with Him. Now we are seated with Him in heavenly places, no longer defined by where we were but by where He has placed us. This shift is not earned but given by grace. We moved from death to life, from earthbound defeat to a heavenly position in Christ, created now to walk in the purpose He prepared for us.
