Low-cost carrier Viva Aerobus has announced new options for exits and arrivals to and from U.S. cities.
As of December, the airline will operate nonstop routes from the Guadalajara International Airport to Oakland, California; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Dallas and San Antonio in Texas. Viva will also launch four new domestic routes from Guadalajara to the northern Mexico cities of Mexicali, Ciudad Obregon and Torreon, as well as the popular southern beach resort of Puerto Escondido in Oaxaca.
Although other carriers also cover most of these eight routes, the added competition could help to lower fares, especially in slack periods.
