The Chapala City Council has approved hikes in municipal fees and taxes to take effect for the 2020 calendar year.

Chapala Mayor Moisés Anaya and Secretary General Sergio Cuevas show the design for new bus stops that will be installed throughout the community for the comfort of public transportation users.

A powerful storm blew into the Chapala area in the early hours of Tuesday, August 13, bringing  with it steady thunder, lightning, rain and high winds that left widespread damage.
