The BRAVO! Theatre

How do you carry around a heart that has been broken into 19 pieces? Does getting closer actually mean moving farther apart? What does it mean to “fall” in love?

Bare Stage is at St. Andrew’s, San Lucas 19, in Riberas del Pilar." />Set in a place that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States. It’s almost in Canada. And it’s not quite a town, because its residents never got around to getting organized. So, it almost doesn’t exist. One cold, clear winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above Almost, Maine, eight couples find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways ... all during the same 10-minute period of time.

“Almost, Maine” was written by John Cariani and is directed by Randy Warren. The cast includes Mark Heaton, Marsha Heaton, Joy Swetnam, Frank Lynch, Louise Reid Ritchie,  Rick Napier, Keithe Tandy, Fred Koesling, Debra Bowers, Maloy Murdock, and Collette Clavadetscher.

Show dates are October 11 to 13 and 18 to 20. Friday shows begin at 7:30 p.m., and weekend shows begin at 4 p.m. Tickets are 350 pesos.
