She envisions a world where art and information converge, where the machine holds “the past, the present, and the future, all at once, all together in its beating metal heart.”

The play excels in balancing complex themes with engaging storytelling, making it accessible and enjoyable for all audiences. Gunderson’s writing sparkles with humor, warmth, and insight, bringing Ada’s story to life in an entertaining and enlightening way.

Lynn Gutstadt, a Lakeside veteran both on stage and behind the scenes, makes her directing debut at Bare Stage. Her talented cast includes familiar faces Kathleen Morris and Don Beaudreau, alongside newcomers Mikhaila Molloy and Nathaniel Pusey. Chris Philipson will provide the sound and music for the production.
