Art on the Plaza

The Ajijic Society of the Arts presents its first great show of the season Sunday, October 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Ajijic Plaza in front of the Centro Cultural Ajijic. 

Singing contest

La Bodega Ajijic restaurant continues with its International Singing Contest 2016 to benefit local charities.

Naked Stage

“Tuesdays with Morrie” by Jeffrey Hatcher and Mitch Albom will be offered Friday, September 30 and Saturday and Sunday, October 1 and 2 at the Naked Stage Readers Theatre in Riberas del Pilar.  

LLT season

“Painting Churches” continues its run at the Lakeside Little Theatre (LLT) Friday, September 23 through Sunday, October 2. 

Paco Padilla concert

Ajijic will cap off this year’s Fiestas Patrias program with a free concert by singer-songwriter Paco Padilla Saturday, September 17, 8 p.m. at the town plaza.

Photo exhibition

Visual Arts students from the University of Guadalajara’s School of Art, Architecture and Design are showing photographs throughout September at the Centro Cultural Antigua Presidencia in Chapala.
