A celebration of Jeanne Chaussee’s life — including many of the things she loved about Mexico: mariachi, marimba, charros, margaritas, baile folklorico, sayacas and fine Mexican food and drink — will be held on the Ajijic Plaza, Saturday, June 22, beginning at 4 p.m. 

Chapala’s DIF family services agency is giving a boost to its satellite center in San Antonio Tlayacapan by sponsoring expanded programs coordinated by its newly appointed director Ramiro Renteria.

Ajijic residents and friends are invited to support a town beautification project by contributing to the First Annual Plant-In scheduled for Friday, June 14, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the waterfront park adjacent to the pier.
