90-something Lakeside couple ties the knot

Newlyweds Cleola Mary Hengstebeck, 94, and John Wester, 92, are all smiles at the end of their Saturday, November 7 New Braunfels, Texas, wedding ceremony.

The bride and groom are long-time lakeside residents.

The wedding date was carefully set around schedules of family members and, according to Wester, a Naval Academy graduate and World War II Navy pilot, so it wouldn’t coincide with the annual Army-Navy game.
