Firstly, we would like to thank Tom Thompson for his letter reminding us how important and easy it is to separate our garbage. We too, are interested in a better way of keeping stuff out of the landfills and off of our streets.

Your recent front page story of the “garbage” crisis that plagues the Chapala municipality hopefully will generate an awareness that part of the solution is to separate trash at the source – something we have done in our household ever since Ajijic Limpio was around!
