The Day of the Dead Calaverandia Festival will be repeated in Guadalajara’s Parque Avila Camacho Friday, October 27 through Sunday, November 19.
The “theme park” will feature dozens of attractions inspired by the November celebration along a 1.6-kilometer route. Among the spectacles will be a 4D multimedia show, the Underworld Interactive Tour, the Catrina del Lago, an Interactive Cemetery, a Neon Zone, a market, a gigantic altar, as well as character meet and greets, video mapping, a gallery and more.
Calaverandia Festival hours will be 7 p.m. to midnight daily, except Mondays and Tuesdays when the space will be closed.
Cost for adults, 590 pesos; children from 4-12, 300 pesos. VIP tickets are 1,200 and 790 pesos (see website for details on benefits). Pre-purchase from Ticketmaster.
