The BRAVO! Theatre is excited to welcome stand-up comedy legend Elayne Boosler to its intimate stage on April 10 and 11.

Boosler has been recognized as one of Comedy Central’s “Greatest 100 Stand-Up Comedians of All Time,” one of Rolling Stone magazine’s “50 Best Stand-Up Comics of All Time,” and “The First Lady of Stand-Up Comedy” by Rolling Stone as well.

Boosler is best known for her witty, socially conscious humor, often touching on topics such as baseball and her love for animals—both of which play a significant role in her act. For over 40 years, she has appeared on virtually every major talk show, written for various media outlets, founded “Tails of Joy,” an animal rescue and advocacy organization, and provided TV and radio baseball commentary. She’s also sung the National Anthem and thrown out the first pitch at numerous baseball games.

Her stand-up career has taken her worldwide, performing at iconic venues such as the London Palladium, the White House Press Correspondents’ Dinner, a Command Performance for the Queen of England, and at colleges, clubs, Las Vegas, theaters, and corporate events. Boosler has toured Africa and the Middle East entertaining U.S. troops and regularly participates in fundraising benefits for veterans.
