A young man from San Antonio Tlayacapan was killed instantly on Friday, November 19 when the motorcycle he was driving was involved in a collision in front of the Ajijic Pemex service station.
Witnesses at the scene reported that the motorcyclist was traveling at too high a speed to avoid crashing into a truck that was turning onto the highway from Calle Aldama. Apparently, he was thrown through the air on impact and into the path of another oncoming vehicle.
He was identified as Fabian Heredía, a barber by trade known by the nickname Cachetes.
Another motorcycle versus car accident occurred almost simultaneously in Riberas del Pilar with non-fatal consequences for the biker.
