On a mission to green up and beautify the municipality, Chapala Mayor Alejandro Aguirre recently took a tour of the local government’s vivero (nursery)
to have a look at its supply of ornamental plants and discuss production plans with the facility’s head gardener Pedro Quiñones and Parks and Gardens Director José Luis Hernández.
Their first targets for natural beautification are the Chapala thoroughfares Avenida Madero, Paseo Ramón Corona and Avenida González Gallo.
