The third annual edition of the Chapala Indie Film Festival gets rolling on Friday, December 5, featuring a variety of activities linked to the theme Cinema without Borders, exploring topics such as migration, identity, displacement, and cultural diversity through the lens of independent filmmakers.

Venues
The three-day program encompasses free events to be staged at the following venues:
• Centro Cultural González Gallo (CCGG), the former Chapala railway station, Av. González Gallo 1500, Chapala.
• Cinematic movie theater at Centro Laguna Mall.
• MUSA Scenic Arts Academy, Zaragoza 321, Chapala.
• Lake Chapala Society (LCS), Calle 16 de Septiembre 16-A, Ajijic.
• Parque El Castillo, south side of the highway in La Floresta.
• Hotel Real de Chapala, Paseo del Prado 20, lower La Floresta.
Each day of the festival starts with an actor’s workshop session at CCGG, led by Spanish screenwriter, film director, and playwright Manuel Nector Yañez. All ten participant spaces have been filled.
