Chapala toy drive breaks records

Organizers of Jugueton 2013 extend a special thank-you to all of the foreign residents who generously contributed to this year’s campaign, helping  them reach an all-time record of 2,631 toys collected to brighten Christmas for impoverished children.


Boy flown to burns unit in Galveston

A seven-year-old boy from Tlajomulco who was seriously burned in a fire at his home on December 17 has been airlifted to the Shriners Hospital for Children in Galveston, Texas, thanks to the intervention of a well-known Mexican charity.
