Space camp begins

Bomb attack kills six in Tlajomulco

In what appears to be a deadly escalation in the violent tactics employed by criminal organizations in Jalisco, four police officers and two civilians died on the evening of Tuesday July 11 when a police convoy was the target of a bomb attack in a semi-populated area of Tlajomulco, the town located 30 kilometers south of Guadalajara centro that is the seat of the large municipality extending into the metropolitan area.

Yucatan showcased in Zapopan

The Plaza de las Americas, the huge plaza in downtown Zapopan facing the Basilica, will play host to a festival celebrating the southern Mexican state of Yucatan, Thursday, July 13 through Sunday, July 16.
