Ana Victoria

Folk dance

The 60-year-old Ballet Folklórico de Amalia Hernandez flies in from the capital for a special show titled “Independencia, celebrando el corazón de Mexico” (Independence, celebrating the heart of Mexico). This famed troupe will bring 240 performers to Guadalajara, along with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Veracruz directed by Antonio Tornero.

Orquesta RCM

This local orchestra made up of young musicians performs “Welcome to the Magic,” a suite comprising music from Disney animation and feature films.

Jalisco State Choir

The Coro del Estado del Jalisco interprets the work of local composers in the hall in the bowels of the Degollado theater.

These free Tuesday recitals have been moved to the main Degollado auditorium due to public demand.  The Jalisco State Choir makes its second appearance in two days to interpret works by Ponce, Donizetti and Bizet.

Beatles tribute band in concert.
